There are a variety of methods and practices you can use to begin consciously manifesting your life. Mindset is everything when it comes to manifestation, and today I’ll share how to manifest self love (or anything else), including manifestation tools I use on a daily basis!

The biggest misunderstanding that I see surrounding the law of attraction is the idea that there is one particular method for conscious manifestation, and that conscious manifestation can be achieved without any other spiritual work.
In reality, conscious manifestation is directly connected to your relationship with yourself, and your ability to connect with universal consciousness (or the subconscious, or Source, or God, there are many human terms for this). This why self love is the FIRST thing you want to manifest in your journey!
Spiritual work is deeply personal, and it’s important that you follow your own unique spiritual path. Your journey may look very different from mine, and that’s perfectly okay.
I use many of the tools I share here on a daily basis. Since I began implementing these tools I’ve experienced a dramatic increase in peace, love, and abundance in my life.
With that said, I want to emphasize that there is no one-size-fits-all method to manifestation success!
With this post, I want to provide an overview of MANY different spiritual tools that may or may not feel right for your personal practice.
Pay attention to your feelings as you read about these tools, and choose the ones that feel exciting or interesting to you. If they all inspire you, great! If only one or two inspire you, great- use those!
What is conscious manifestation? How is it different from regular manifestation?

Every single person on the planet is manifesting all the time. If you think back into your past you will remember examples of your thoughts becoming reality without you ever learning about the law of attraction. That is regular, unconscious manifestation.
Conscious manifestation is manifesting your desires intentionally. Conscious manifestation is becoming aware of the law of attraction, and intentionally using it to manifest a life you love.
Here are some powerful tools to assist you in manifesting your best life:
Daily Meditation Practice

Meditation is a powerful tool in learning to consciously manifest. The secret to successful manifestation is appreciating where you are at, right now, at this moment.
Now is the only true reality. Consider this- the past and the future only exist in your mind.
Meditation will teach you how to be fully present in this moment, right now. Getting really present in the Now moment also leads to a much deeper, much more loving relationship with yourself!
Set aside 15 minutes every day to meditate. If you’ve never tried it, meditation can sound intimidating, but it’s SO simple.
Wondering how to get started meditating? Learn about a variety of meditation types in this guide to meditation methods for anyone. I recommend starting with the Loving Kindness Meditation method to quickly manifest self love into your life.
Manifestation Journal

When you first begin learning to consciously manifest it is helpful to keep track of all of your successes, no matter how small. A manifestation journal is the perfect way to document your progress.
Remember that you should journal in the way that best fits your lifestyle and personality. If a handwritten journal feels good, use that. If it feels good to keep notes in your phone, use that!
Things you should record in your manifestation journal include:
- A list of things you have already manifested in your life (positive or negative)
- A list of things you want to manifest in the short term
- A list of things you want to manifest in the long term
- Your manifestation successes no matter how small
- Your manifestation misses
By keeping a record of your manifestations (and the things that did not manifest) you will start to get an idea of the feelings and mental states that led to your successful manifestations.
Energy Clearing Exercise

Have you ever found yourself obsessing over that rude thing your coworker said? Do you feel drained after spending time with certain people? Energy clearing can help with this!
Energy clearing helps you let go of challenging energy you pick up throughout your day. Since you need a calm, centered mindset in order to consciously manifest, it’s important that you take a few minutes everyday to clear your emotional energy.
I recommend doing this just before you meditate, because after you’ve cleared your energy it will be much easier to quiet your mind in meditation.
Follow the steps below to clear your emotional energy:
- Sit in a comfortable position, with your spine straight. This can be on the floor, in a chair, or on a cushion, whatever works best for your body.
- Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, slowly counting to four.
- Exhale slowly, and count to four.
- Repeat this for several breaths until you feel more calm.
- Next, as you take a deep breath in, imagine a bright light entering your body at the top of your head. As you breathe in deeply, picture that light filling your body with warmth and light.
- As you exhale, imagine dark, dense particles leaving your body on your breath.
- Repeat this several times, until your body feels warm and calm.
Manifest Self Love Practice

In order to manifest consciously, you have to believe in yourself and your own power. In today’s culture we are pounded with insecurities about our value.
Whether it’s the cosmetic industry convincing us we aren’t physically attractive enough, the corporate world convincing us that our work isn’t valuable enough, or the fitness industry telling us we aren’t healthy enough, we receive constant messages that we are “not enough”.
You have to overcome this feeling of “not enough”, and learn your own value, before you can begin consciously manifesting.
You are powerful, but you have to believe in your own power.
This is where self love comes in. You spend more time with yourself than you do with anyone else on the planet. Just like any other relationship, your relationship with yourself requires time, effort, and kindness.
A daily self love practice can take many forms, but the key is to take a few minutes every day to acknowledge yourself, to notice your strengths, and to connect with yourself.
My favorite daily self love practice is to take a few minutes in the morning to think about one of my strengths.
Then, throughout the day, anytime I notice myself actually using that strength I mentally reward myself for doing a good job.
For example, if I’ve identified empathy as my strength, then anytime I act with empathy throughout the day I take note and give myself a mental pat on the back.
This is a simple self love practice that you can easily incorporate into your life right now.
Mindfulness and Living in the Now

“Love this moment. This moment is your life.” There’s a lot of truth in those words.
This exact moment, right now, is your life. The past and future only exist in your mind. You cannot physically perceive anything in your past or future.
Take a moment to think about that more deeply.
If this moment, the “right now” is the only true reality, then it’s important to try to be present in the Now as much as possible. This is called mindfulness.
Many people spend the majority of their life reliving the past, or looking forward to some future goal or event. While it’s great to have goals and make plans, it’s unhealthy to live for those future goals/plans.
A quiet mind is a mind that appreciates and savors the present moment as much as possible.
The following exercise is a simple way to practice more mindfulness in your life:
- Pay attention to your thoughts throughout the day.
- When you find yourself feeling anxious, or worrying about something, redirect your attention to your breathing.
- Breathe in slowly while counting to four.
- Exhale slowly while counting to four.
- Continue this breathing.
- Direct your attention to the way your body feels as you breathe.
- If you feel tension somewhere in your body, try to relax that tension as you exhale.
- Continue this for 1-2 minutes.
- Repeat this exercise throughout your day whenever you feel stressed
Once you feel the stress-relieving effects of this exercise you will begin to understand the powerful shift in wellness that comes from living in the present moment.
Daily Gratitude Practice

Gratitude is a key tool in learning to manifest your desires. In order to consciously manifest you need to be in a peaceful place emotionally (have a quiet mind).
A simple way to improve your emotional state is appreciating what you have right now (there’s that mindfulness idea again).
Gratitude for the things that are already good in your life will help activate the law of attraction so that you attract MORE good things.
I practice gratitude twice in my daily routine. First, in the morning, just before my meditation, I write what I’m feeling grateful for in that moment.
This can be anything I feel appreciative of- my cup of coffee, the sun coming through my window, my partner, anything. I don’t judge whether something is worth writing down. If I feel a moment of gratitude for it I write it down.
Then, in the evening, before I go to sleep, I think of the thing I was most grateful for in my day. This is an awesome practice, because I go to sleep feeling grateful. Which means I go to sleep feeling good.
Dream Journal

Dreams are an important look into what you are really feeling. In fact, your dreams are like mini-manifestations, or practice manifestations based on your emotional energy.
Paying attention to your dreams, especially the FEELING of your dreams is a great way to keep track of your progress towards a more peaceful, quiet mind.
The problem with dreams is that, for many people, they disappear from memory very quickly after you wake up. This is where your dream journal comes in.
Leave your dream journal and a pen on your nightstand before you go to sleep. In the morning, immediately grab your dream journal and jot down everything you can remember about your dream and how you felt in your dream.
Get into the habit of doing this every morning, and you will find, over time, that you can go back and learn a lot about yourself from your dream journal.
Additionally, you can occasionally go back and compare your dream journal with your manifestation journal. This will really show you the ways that the emotions in your dreams translate directly into physical manifestations in your life.
Manifestation Ritual

I try to do a manifestation ritual once a month, on the night of the new moon.
After a new moon the moon is waxing (getting bigger) until it becomes a full moon. This waxing moon period is a time for creation, and for drawing things in. This is why the new moon is a perfect time to initiate a conscious manifestation.
It’s best to create your own manifestation ritual, as whatever you create will be imbued with your own power.
If you have never created a ritual before, don’t worry, it’s easy if you just give yourself permission to do whatever feels right to you.
Here are some helpful ideas for designing your ritual:
- Include a fire element of some kind- candle, incense, sage, etc
- Include an element of sound, whether it’s you speaking, playing a percussion instrument (rattle, drum, etc.), or putting calming music or sounds on a speaker.
- Include spoken or written words about what exactly you want to manifest.
- Include objects that feel sacred and/or relevant to you. Crystals, objects from nature, or anything else that feels good to you will work perfectly.
Create a Sacred Space for your Daily Practice

The creation of a sacred space is a great way to bring together all of the manifestation tools I’ve listed.
A sacred space in your home gives you a dedicated place to meditate and journal, and the creation of a sacred space is in itself a way to claim your own power.
Taking the time to create and maintain a sacred space will help you stick to your daily practice. When I created my first altar I found it MUCH easier to meditate, journal, and check in with myself, because I had made actual, PHYSICAL space for that practice in my life.
There are no rules to creating a sacred space. It can go anywhere you’d like, and it can be as big or as small as you want. Whatever feels right for you and your home will work perfectly.
When my partner and I were traveling full time I had a small altar cloth, a few crystals, and some palo santo wood that I carried in my travel bag. I would lay these items out in our hotel rooms, and just like that I had a sacred space!
So when I tell you that your sacred space can be anything that feels right for you, I mean it!
Here are some ideas for sacred spaces:
- For indoor spaces you may want to create an altar. This can be done by draping a piece of cloth over a box, a low table, or the top of a dresser.
- You can place ritual items on the altar. Items like candles, incense, and crystals may feel good to you. I also place items I find on hikes on my altar (things like feathers, leaves, rocks, etc).
- Your sacred space could be outside, if you have a yard or porch that feels good to you. I’ve seen outdoor altars that include pine cones, rocks, and grass. Outdoor altars require a bit more upkeep, but they also naturally change with the seasons, which is very cool.
- Your sacred space could be temporary or portable if you live in a small space, or just don’t have a permanent area to designate to the purpose. For a portable sacred space I recommend keeping all of the elements together so you can easily set up the space when you want to use it.

Manifesting self love, and discovering your own true power is one of the most beautiful experiences you can have as a human. I’m so happy to share these tools with you! Just remember- with manifestation, like so many things in life, the power is truly in the journey.
